Radnor Express - 13th July 1916

KILLED IN ACTION.—We regret to announce that Pte. Nelson Arthur Pullen, Manchester Regiment, fell in action on the 2nd inst. Pte. Pullen was the third son of Mr and Mrs E. J. Pullen (Clock House). He was 22 years of age, joined the Manchester Regiment last October, and left this country for France about the end of April. It is thought that death was caused by a shell, and was the result either of shock or concussion of the brain. We deeply sympathise with the parents and the rest of the family in a sorrow which, though all too common, is none the less easy to bear.
