Married Knighton, 1894

Although Thomas Edward was named as a Phillips on his death, he along with his brother and sister were born illegitimate to Martha Whittall. Martha only married Thomas Phillips after the birth of Thomas Edward in 1894. Therefore the 3 children were all registered with the surname Whittall.

Eliza Jane married Edward Hill on 25th April 1900 at Clun

Martha (nee Whittall) died on 17th July 1939 at Offa's Lodge, Knighton. (the old workhouse) She had been living at 3 Plough Road, Knighton
